Great home design doesn't happen with the first sketch. It's a collaborative process of exploring ideas, making adjustments, and refining a plan until everything comes together.
In Episode 03 of Your New Home Build Roadmap, architect Rick Staub takes viewers behind the scenes of the design process, using homeowners Christine and Young's custom Connecticut home as a real-world example.
Discover how an architect combines a homeowner's vision with the unique characteristics of a property to develop a thoughtful design concept. Rick also explains why homeowner participation is essential and how early sketches evolve into a design that reflects the way a family wants to live.
Whether you're planning a custom home or just beginning to explore the possibilities, this episode offers valuable insight into how great design happens.
